António Sérgio , the radio , bet on them and began to edit , through the label " Nova " , a numbered single with the themes of " A Festa do Bruno " and " Engrenagem " , a version of José Mário Branco .
Soon after edit the LP " Música Moderna " with production of John Henry and António Sérgio . The cover of this LP boasts a courtesy Friendship Association Portugal Photo - China. Without the support from the media , this excellent disc is largely ignored .
The fact that " Música Moderna " was never released on CD is one of the major flaws that exist in the market for editions in Portugal . As a result , this record has become a valuable collector's item .
In 1983 , Carlos Gonçalves form the Twist Casino including drummer Edgar Cages , guitarists Carlos Ramon and Mario Ayres , bassist Fernando Delaere and still saxophonist Bill .

" Corpos a Compasso " theme recorded at New Year 1983 to 1984 appear in the compilation " Live At Rock Rendez Vous in 1984 ."
The purpose of the group was considered a great loss for the 1984 " Som da Frente " by António Sérgio program.
With the end of Twist Casino , some of the group members formed the Barbarella in late 1985 , originally consisting of Carlos Gonçalves , Hypo (drums ) , Mario Ayres (guitar ) , Manuel Friedrich (bass, ex - Roxigénio ) , Renato Jr ( saxophone, clarinet, keys and percussion ) . The choruses were Nucha and Marité . The group sang in English and live debut occurred in RRV on February 28, 1986 .
Changes in the band lead to the entry of Fernando Delaere (bass), Renato Gomes (guitar ) , Fernando Soares ( saxophone) and Simon Wadsworth ( woodwinds ) , passing Marité for lead singer.
Carlos Gonçalves , after coming out of Barbarella , he moved to the United States.
Return in 2001 , integrates Raindogs band to replace singer Roland Popp , having written the "Life After Vegas " album 2002.
In 2008 , The Offshores The project , the result of a chance encounter with the musician Miro do Carmo , Mexico , a few years before he left to marinate a joint project arises .
